GameHawk, by Shinro
Delete your account
Deleting your GameHawk account removes your account and the data tied to it from our servers. It cannot be undone.
If you have the app installed
- Open GameHawk and tap the settings gear, top right on any screen.
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This works the same on iPhone, iPad and Android. Your account is deleted straight away, and the app signs out and clears its local copy.
If you no longer have the app
Email contact@shin.ro from the address you signed in with, with the subject "GameHawk account deletion". We verify that the address matches the account and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account record and its Apple or Google sign-in link, including the email address it carried.
- Your wishlist, including every price alert threshold you set.
- Your owned library, including the playtime your storefronts reported.
- The storefronts you connected and the region set for each.
- Every device registered for push notifications, and the record of alerts sent to you.
- Your purchase records, meaning the Hawk tier the account held.
- All sign-in sessions, so every phone and browser is signed out.
What is kept, and for how long
- Game and price data: titles, cover art, prices and historical lows are shared across all users and hold no link to you. They stay, because they were never personal data.
- Backups: the database is backed up daily and each backup is kept for 14 days. Your data disappears from the backup set within 14 days of deletion.
- Server logs: operational logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.
Things to know
- Your storefront sign-ins, for example Steam or GOG, never reach our servers. They are stored only on your device and are gone when you delete the app.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Silver Hawk subscription. Cancel that in the App Store or Google Play, otherwise it keeps renewing. A Golden Hawk purchase is a one time purchase with nothing to cancel.
- Deleting the account does not delete the Apple or Google account you signed in with.
